Cohansey Riverfest August 28, 2010

Celebrate the Cohansey River and its bounty at the first annual Cohansey RiverFest coming to Bridgeton and points along Down Jersey's beautiful, snaking Cohansey River all day on Saturday, August 28.

Visitors can discover and explore the River via bike, boat, and walking tours and participate in a suite of entertaining activities that celebrate the area and its vast natural and cultural resources. Stop by the Cousteau Center at Bridgeton for some fun and amusing family activities that will introduce you to amazing marine scientists, underwater robots, and fascinating animals, including this year’s RiverFest feature creature the Atlantic sturgeon.  Oh, and when you get hungry there will be steamed blue crabs and a beer garden! Jump in, plan your trip and begin your journey on the Cohansey River at www.cohanseyriverfest.org
